I’m a CHILDREN’S BOOK ILLUSTRATOR living back in my cozy hometown in Portugal after a few adventures.
My "coworkers" include a dog named Ziggy and three cats who mostly spend their day supervising my sketches (and napping on my keyboard).
As a kid, I was completely obsessed with animated movies and picture books. I didn’t just want to watch stories, I wanted to build the characters living inside them! Life took me on a few detours through photography, video and marketing, but during the pandemic I picked up my pencil again and realized what I wanted to do.
Now that I’m illustrating (and designing) full-time, I love playing with vintage-inspired color palettes and Japanese folklore whenever possible. I like to think my work has a classic, timeless soul with a fresh, modern twist.
If it has paws, whiskers or a tail, there’s a 100% chance I want to draw it! Animals are my absolute favorite subject.
